How It Works

Genius breaks down text with line-by-line annotations, added and edited by anyone in the world.

How to annotate in Genius

Genius isn't just an online public knowledge platform - it's also a game.

Writing an annotation, getting upvotes on annotations, moderating someone else’s work, etc., result in a user's Genius IQ to go up. Enough IQ and a user can even make the leaderboard or become the Top Scholar for an artist or author.
