We’re looking for an Editor, POPSUGAR Latina to join our POPSUGAR team, within Group Nine Media! If you are excited about driving growth and building the editorial voice across Latinx programming at POPSUGAR, we want to talk to you!

This role will be focused on our Latina site, overseeing content in English and Spanish. Our ideal candidate is a strong and experienced editor with a passion for content for a Latinx audience, a knack for driving creative social and SEO-driven programming, and original reporting. This is a full time position and can be based in our NY, SF, or LA offices, and will report to the Content Director, Latina.

The Editor will lead by example in demonstrating Group Nine’s values - Care Deeply, Be Brave, Go First, Do Good, Stay Close and Win Together.


  • Research, write, and produce multiple posts each day for our Latina vertical
  • Create seasonal and themed features based on team and network brainstorms
  • Create content during special events, including award shows, premieres, and finales, working quickly and cleanly in real time
  • Consider analytics and previous successes to pitch strategic, winning story ideas
  • Work closely with the Content Director to develop and execute a content marketing plan for every story, including but not limited to: pitching to partners and social teams, getting brands and influencers to share, etc. 
  • Produce original, short and long-form content and features that align with POPSUGAR’s mission for inclusivity and diversity
  • Conceptualize and coordinate Latina content for social platforms and videos 
  • Help to lead the team’s SEO strategy and manage seasonal and evergreen SEO updates


  • Exercising sound judgment on coverage, resulting in content that drives traffic and engagement
  • Producing new pieces of standout original content each day 
  • Driving site traffic growth in line with daily and monthly traffic budget
  • Bringing new, intersectional perspectives and passions to PS with original, impactful content 


  • 5+ years editorial, social, and brand marketing experience 
  • A proven interest in and dedication to covering broad viewpoints, cultures within the Latinx community, and experiences
  • Super strong writing and communication skills 
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment 
  • The ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to new and changing tasks and priorities on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis 
  • A familiarity with and passion for the POPSUGAR brand 
  • Experience optimizing content for search  


  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with PhotoShop elements
  • HTML skills and experience
