Job Description

Due to continued growth we are hiring a HR Business Partner (HRBP) for HelloFresh ANZ. 

Reporting to the Head of People Operations ANZ, you will partner with local business units to provide first point of reference for Employee Relations inquiries and investigation, WHS, visa processing, and assistance with payroll, this includes support to our customer service centre and warehouses in Australia and New Zealand. 

You will...

  • Conduct on-going meetings with respective business units.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the People and Culture team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) ensuring procedural fairness.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters including knowledge of visa application processes.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Support payroll operations when needed. 

You have/are...

  • A strong affinity to the HelloFresh brand and culture, and a love of good food
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable education in human resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a fast moving start-up environment
  • Proven knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, visa processing, policy writing, and strong business partnering. 
  • A people person” with brilliant communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent: able to work with autonomy with other functions and as part of a cross functional leadership team
  • Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems (ADP Payforce, ADP Realtime) is desirable

Start Date: Immediately Available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

Location: Chippendale Head Office - currently working from home
