Job description

The Supply Chain Optimization Manager will be a part of the Supply Chain Optimisation and Projects team joining one of the fastest growing scale-ups in the country. Reporting to our Upstream Supply Chain Optimisation Lead, our ideal applicant has experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Process Improvement and is hungry to make an impact in a fun and fast paced environment  in our business.

You will…

  • Manage and develop a growing team with direct and dotted line reporting lines
  • Be a senior stakeholder in the team that links our warehouses, procurement, logistics and product teams pushing for operational excellence across shared key performance indicators
  • Support the roadmap conception to develop processes and tools to achieve operational excellence across the supply chain
  • Design, measure, report and improve upon cross functional KPI's
  • Own accountability for the successful execution of weekly supply chain operations through cross functional coordination of multiple teams
  • Manage and plan for warehouse and supply chain capacity and just in sequence strategic performance to sustain continued growth
  • Focus on process adherence, performance and KPIs monitoring and Continuous Improvement across our Supply Chain
  • Plan and successfully execute improvement initiatives across our Upstream Supply Chain and multiple warehouses
  • Solve problems on-the-go in a fast-paced environment

You have...

  • Vast knowledge and interest in food 
  • Bachelor’s degree / Masters in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent
  • 4+ years of supply chain, process and production management and process improvement  experience,  preferably in food (but not a must)
  • Clear written and verbal communication at all levels
  • Quantitative and analytical experience, including solid comfort with Excel
  • Process improvement and execution experience
  • The ability to take ownership of your work. You are proactive and assertive
  • Experience using HelloFresh is a plus!

Start Date: Immediately Available - can wait for notice period

Duration: Full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

Location: Chippendale Head Office and willingness for occasional travel to our warehouses in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney
