The role

This role based in our Berlin headquarters is the frontline people management role in the Commercial HR Business Partner team. The person (m/f/x) in this role will be responsible for (a) advising and supporting the senior business leaders in the achievement of their goals, (b) collaborating with our high-performing workforce as their strategic partner, trusted guide, performance coach and change agent, and (c) doing so by developing and leading a highly motivated, engaged and impactful team of HR Business Partners / Specialists

The HR Business Partner at HelloFresh is the core role within the People team to support our leaders and employees along the full employee lifecycle and with the most relevant initiatives to succeed in their roles. What you’ll do

  • Provide People / HR leadership at business unit level in the Commercial areas
  • Partner with business leaders to provide solutions for workforce topics and challenges
  • Proactively find opportunities to engage and excite the workforce
  • Serve as a trusted coach and advisor on org design and change management
  • Serve as performance coach and change agent on key people programs such as workforce planning, pay reviews, performance management and succession planning
  • Analyse data to generate insights and create decision-making options for leaders
  • Identify improvement opportunities across people-related topics in the business, with long-term goals of constantly raising the talent bar and driving simplification
  • Independently drive organizational change, improve processes and implement HR best practices in alignment with the business goals to drive impact
  • Closely partner with other People function teams to inform them on business strategy and co-create new people solutions that address business challenges or harmonise
  • Partner with the VP of People (HRBPs) in creating the long-term strategy for the HRBP function in HelloFresh
  • Successfully hire and manage a team of high performing HR Business Partners / Specialists by creating a highly engaging work environment
  • Actively seek out and volunteer to lead projects to contribute to the team and drive your own self-development

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 7 years relevant HRBP experience, preferably within Tech companies
  • Minimum 1 year of people management experience, preferably of HR teams
  • Track record of creating / managing HR programs and initiatives at business unit level
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in German is a significant plus

To be successful in this role, you should be

  • Excellent at prioritisation with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders / tasks
  • Well-organised skills with the ability to multi-task, collaborate and align effectively
  • Experienced at influencing with experience leading in a matrix environment
  • A self-starter with a “can do” attitude
  • An expert communicator with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong in business / financial acumen needed to understand strategy and budgets
  • Highly numerate with the ability to use data to uncover insights and drive decisions
  • An agile thinker able to lead in a fast-paced / rapidly-changing environment
  • Bachelors or Masters degree qualified with good grades, relevant field of study is a plus
  • IT savvy with Office / Google suite exposure and Excel / G-sheet familiarity
  • A manager who has led an HR Business Partner / Talent Management team
  • An HR professional with experience in labour and social security regulations
