Job description

As the Operational Excellence Manager, you’ll report into the Production Team Lead. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team who are improving operational processes, implementing new technical solutions and driving sustainable growth across the Fulfilment functions. Your work will have an immediate impact on improving our customer offering!

You will…

  • Continue to develop and build a strong relationships between HF and its fulfilment centre 
  • Introduce best practices and benchmarking processes from HF’s global warehouse network
  • Work with a variety of key stakeholders and take ownership on warehouse tools implementation, management and improvement
  • Seek to continually improve processes and identify areas of potential weaknesses
  • Own and deliver against operational KPIs
  • Manage the Operational Excellence Team in New Zealand - 1 direct report 
  • Own / be heavily involved in structural and infrastructural projects

You are/have…

  • Practical knowledge and 3+ years of experience in an operational environment
  • Experience in managing large infrastructure projects
  • FMCG and grocery retail knowledge is preferred 
  • A track record of identifying operational improvements and influencing others to deliver change
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Analytics skills
  • An excellent leader 
  • A strong communicator
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and committed

Location: Penrose, Auckland - hybrid working from home

Compensation: Competitive Salary + Benefits

Duration: Permanent role. You must have the right to work full-time in New Zealand.

Start date: Immediately - we can wait a notice period
