The Job

As a Data Engineer joining our dynamic and growing OpsTech team, you will lead various efforts to build applications and ETLs to automate operational processes as well helping to allow data and information to flow flawlessly throughout the company. Examples of projects include creating tools for automating decision making about order data in our warehouses, ensuring timely data delivery for our ingredient ordering or providing customer data to our Customer Care centre.

You’ll be based out of our Regional HQ in leafy Islands Brygge, Copenhagen and report to the Senior Data Engineer. 

You will…

  • You will support the HelloFresh Nordics OpsTech team in developing, maintaining and optimizing local tools that decrease manual work, decrease the risk of operational errors and enable scalability
  • You will have the opportunity to redesign some of our most important systems to improve user experience and the robustness of our tool landscape
  • You will identify technical improvement potential throughout the entire value chain and beyond ( Procurement, Production, Logistics, Customer Care, Marketing) and get the chance to realize them in a hands-on manner
  • You will support with operational tasks such as monitoring essential pipelines

You have...

  • 1+ years in a Developer/DevOps role in a fast-paced environment with Unix/Linux systems and scripting experience in Python, Shell
  • Solid back-end experience within using Python and/or Golang is an advantage
  • Familiarity with different CI/CD methods 
  • Experience with DevOps tasks (AWS, docker, airflow etc) 
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn quickly, especially when it comes to new analytical methods, software applications and tools
  • The ability to be self-organized, proactive and pragmatic
  • A general interest in understanding business processes and stakeholder perspectives to tailor solutions to their needs
  • An agile mindset and you can deal well with changing priorities
