Who You Are…

As a Business Value Analyst, you have the ability to carry out qualitative and quantitative company analysis on existing and potential Hootsuite customers and identify areas where social media can have a larger impact on their digital transformation practice.  

As a key member of a multi-disciplined sales team, you will be responsible for enabling the sales team to link the unique differentiators of the Hootsuite platform with specific and individual business challenges of our customer.

You’re Great At…

  • Partnering closely with assigned Field Account Executives to identify high priority prospects and develop an account map for each of them including a discussion of business objectives, key stakeholders, their existing and/or potential marketing technology stack and social/digital strategy
  • Using internal as well as external data sources, and leveraging expertise with social analytics tools
  • Researching and analysing target industries, market trends, competitive environment, and Hootsuite’s positioning and product mix
  • Utilising qualitative and quantitative analysis to transform findings into impactful business recommendations and conclusions, with the objective of driving increased sales and market penetration
  • Where required, developing business cases and/or financial projections to demonstrate the potential Return on Investment (ROI) for a proposed Hootsuite solution set
  • Presenting research and recommendations to customers and/or providing Field Account Executives with reports and presentations that can be delivered to them
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent writing skills

What You'll Need…

  • 1+ years of research experience and/or experience using data (Ideally at an Enterprise level)
  • A passion and/or interest in social media
  • Experience turning data into a business recommendation
  • Experience with storytelling: Analyse data to tell a coherent story
  • Strong business acumen: Ability to focus on client business value, ROI, and customer solutions

Bonus Points...

  • Fluent in German
  • BA/BSc degree
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Sales Development Experience
