We are looking for an Account Executive - Entry Level who exhibits passion for customer success and responds to customer needs in a creative, timely and efficient manner. You will deliver high impact presentations and demos to showcase Hootsuite product features and influence customers into buying our solutions. This role will be based in Hootsuite’s Vancouver office and will be a hybrid work from home/in an office environment.


  • Develop thorough understanding of core and additional features of Hootsuite business plans
  • Generate net-new funnel through outbound prospecting efforts and secure meetings with potential Hootsuite customers 
  • Deliver high impact product presentations and demos to potential customers and prospects with the goal of selling appropriate Hootsuite business plans
  • Provide creative and insightful responses and solutions to customers that showcase maximum benefits from Hootsuite products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and relevant stakeholders to support the end to end sales process.
  • Serve as voice of the customer by sharing external market insights and feedback from prospects and customers to the Product and Marketing teams in order to drive improvements and product/feature requests
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and results using SFDC, Sales Navigator, 6Sense
  • Maintain relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Some sales experience, with a proven record of consistent quota attainment
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a high volume of opportunities and transactions
  • Ability to articulate product features in an easy to understand language to inspire sales
  • Ability to present confidently and think on feet to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Proven ability to prospect, assess customer challenges, align solutions and read prospective buyers
  • Ability to effectively build trust-based relationships 
  • Experience using sales tools such as SFDC, Sales Navigator, 6Sense will be an asset. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (phone, video, email)
