  • Build a marketplace that empowers people to follow their dreams!
  • Architect, design and implement beautiful, performant & scalable Ruby code.
  • Create features for an international payment system which sees millions of transactions per day.
  • Extend the reach of our platform APIs.
  • Develop using modern web development technologies - HTML5, VueJS, GraphQL, Elasticsearch, etc.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.


  • 4+ years of web development experience.
  • Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving skills.
  • Production expertise with Ruby on Rails [preferred], Python, PHP, Java, or your favorite modern stack.
  • Excellent debugging skills & strong belief in automated testing and coverage.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Experience working as part of a team in an agile environment and mentoring others.
  • Passion, drive, energy, a sense of humor and a great attitude!


  • BSCS or equivalent degree (not required but preferred)
  • Open source software contributions
  • Marketplace, platform or external API experience
  • Experience collaborating effectively with remote/decentralized teammates
  • Experience with TDD, continuous integration, and test automation
  • Experience with agile development processes
  • A passion for crowdfunding!
This role is open to remote US residents. We are currently accepting applications from all parts of the US however International applicants are not currently accepted for the HQ team. Please note that all qualified candidates should have US sponsorship or residency to work in the US.

For this role our target annual base salary range is $140K- $190K. Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
