  • Work with Commercial Operations and Marketplace/Business Development teams to build third-party logistics setup and fulfillment processes to execute launch of key businesses in 2020, addressing:
    • Options for road, rail, and waterway transportation set up for grains within Europe
    • Potential external service partners
    • Transactional documentation setup
    • Integration into Commercial Operations processes
    • Organizational setup and hiring of key team members
  • Leads and owns fulfillment processes for logistics in the context of European Commercial Operations covering areas such as:
    • Transactional and process mapping
    • System setup in coordination with other teams and functions, including third-party logistics interfaces
    • Documentation and contract management
    • SOPs
    • Performance and quality metrics
  • Directly manage transactional activities and work hands-on alongside Commercial Operations team members to ensure smooth fulfillment and scale-up of Commercial Operations in Europe
  • Personally accountable for managing relationship with third-party service providers
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Business Units to develop the long-term vision for opportunities in transport for Indigo Europe

  • 8-10 years of Logistics experience in road, rail, and waterways for grain commodities in and across major European countries
  • Prior experience leading a team is a plus
  • Track record of managing 3PL providers, both contracting, execution, and performance management
  • English fluency required with second or third European language preferred
  • Able to be based in Basel with willingness to relocate in the future
