Every UX designer is a user advocate. We attempt to see the product through the eyes of the user of that product. We design for the users. Empathy is the key element within the team.

As a Senior UX Researcher for the Design team in Insider day in and day out you;

  • will conduct research on multiple aspects of how users and our clients engage with products and experiences
  • will work closely with product managers and designers to identify research initiatives
  • will identify and prioritize short-term and long-term research that delivers impact
  • will conduct research throughout the product life-cycle from early-stage generative research, through iterative concept or prototype testing, and post-launch measurement
  • will conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods, such as In-depth Interviews, User shadowing, and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys
  • will capture and understand work processes
  • will work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing
  • will advocate passionately for the customer, ensuring that the product experience is aligned to user needs and expectations
  • will deliver actionable and relevant insights aligned to both strategic and tactical product and designs decisions
  • will communicate results and illustrate recommendations and suggestions in compelling and creative ways
  • will work closely with the Head of Design to improve research processes and train peers and juniors 

We want you to join us while we are taking a step into the future if you:

  • have a Bachelor’s Degree from a human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.)
  • have 3+ years experience in applied product research
  • have a command of a broad set of qualitative and user-centered design methods
  • have an understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
  • have the ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions
  • have advanced compelling English communication skills
