Instacart is looking for a highly analytical and strategic business leader to own our consumer pricing strategy, innovating on how delivery and pickup of online groceries are priced.You’ll coordinate a large cross-functional team to develop and implement pricing strategies to help accelerate Instacart’s revenue growth and improve our margins.
ABOUT THE JOB
You will work with the company's executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives around pricing
You will collaborate with our Finance, Data Science, Product, Engineering, Business Development, Legal, Research and Economist teams
You will build an exceptional team of pricing analysts
You will develop insights and recommendations through customer segmentation, price discovery, testing & experimentation, and ROI analyses
You will work with teams at Instacart to drive the operational implementation of pricing
You will monitor key metrics and market intelligence to derive insights and identify opportunities for evolving pricing
10-15 years of pricing experience
Able to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic, operational and customer perspective
Strong leader with proven ability to build and lead teams
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; able to pose complex strategic decisions for executives with clarity and precision
Deep experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Sales/BD, Marketing, and Strategy
B.S., M.S. in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or MBA
