What's the opportunity? 🤔

As Director, Demand Generation you will be a key member of the marketing team, directly contributing to the growth of our business by driving profitable web-traffic into our marketing funnel. You will ensure that every acquisition program is optimized to help Intercom grow and make money, participate in full-funnel conversion optimization, bring creative thinking to marketing campaign planning, and support stakeholders across the company with advertising and promotion capabilities.

What will I be doing? 🚀

  • Manage all site traffic acquisition efforts for Intercom web properties
  • Ensure all acquisition programs are efficient and running optimally
  • Partner with operations and analytics teams on attribution initiatives
  • Support cross-functional teams with advertising and promotional capabilities
  • Conduct full-funnel analysis of acquisition efforts to ensure marketing initiatives are driving profitable outcomes
  • Help drive coordinated go-to-market activities and planning
  • Hands-on execution of paid and organic acquisition efforts across a variety of channels
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process with research and data

What skills do I need? 📖

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices, both theoretical and practical
  • Proven experience managing profitable paid media campaigns on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, content sites
  • Proven experience managing organic acquisition efforts including SEO programs and conversion rate optimization projects
  • Experience managing advertising vendor relationships including price negotiations
  • Strong quantitative orientation (must love spreadsheets)
  • Have a proven track record of delivering business results
  • Proven experience building and leading Demand Generation Marketing teams
  • Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
  • Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about product and working with startup companies
  • Self-motivated and self-driven
  • Enthusiastic about learning and growing in this space
  • Intellectually curious and ambitious
  • Bachelor’s degree, highly desired
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
