M&A Compensation Manager

The M&A Compensation Manager will support the full range of compensation activities during due diligence, close and integration of acquired organizations. Through partnership with business, HR, M&A and internal rewards teams this role’s main goal is that each acquired organization has the appropriate rewards strategy that enables deal success.

What you’ll be working on

  • Support compensation activities and post-acquisition integration work
  • Manage end to end rewards projects that could involve market positioning analysis, job levelling, cost modelling, benefits and perks analysis, associate communication, systems integration, and retention awards management
  • Influencing our acquisition framework to increase our M&A effectiveness


  • Research and analyze competitiveness of the rewards packages and salary structures from acquired organizations
  • Review existing rewards documentations, identifying potential risks and synergies opportunities during due diligence
  • Develop compensation offers for M&A critical talent
  • Lead post-close rewards projects and influence the rewards journey of each acquired organization
  • Lead projects to ensure the correct management of incentives, including communication, systems set up and define new processes as needed to ensure correct implementation of pay decisions

  • Ability to manage fast paced projects in ambiguous scenarios
  • Ability to drive change and influence people at different levels in the organization
  • You can see different angles to a problem and lead others to achieving creative solutions
  • You can translate business strategy and priorities into tailored rewards plans
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including local legislation, base pay management, short and long-term incentives.
  • You love working with fun and smart people, and fun and smart people love working with you 


  • 5 years in HR related experience
  • 2 years leading compensation projects
  • Bachelors Degree
