Juniper Square invests in a hybrid workforce and we offer three work modes: full time remote work from your home office, a hybrid of home and office work from one of our office hubs, currently in San Francisco and Austin, or full time work in an office hub. The company headquarters is in the Cloud and we invest in digital-first operations. We have communities of remote employees across the US and Canada, with more substantive local remote working communities in Seattle, Denver, Chicago and New York, but we are open to employees working in several states and provinces. We are happy to share with interested applicants where and how we work.

About the role

The Enterprise Sales team at Juniper Square works with the world's largest real estate investment managers to help streamline investor reporting, capital raising and investment administration.  

Enterprise Account Executives are responsible for leading the entire sales process.  Our prospective clients will rely on you to be consultative and map Juniper Square’s solutions to their business needs. As a member of the Enterprise Sales team, you will be responsible for  identifying new opportunities, building durable and trusted relationships, managing the evaluation, forecasting deals accurately, and hitting revenue targets. AEs on our team have the opportunity to overachieve and earn uncapped commissions with accelerators based on performance.  

What you’ll do

  • Manage the business relationship of key accounts by aligning and leveraging a team of resources across Sales Development, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Product and Sales leadership   
  • Provide a best-in-class buying experience while focusing on the needs of prospective customers and delivering value along the way
  • Create executive alignment and a shared definition of success between Juniper Square and prospective customers 
  • Build consensus and influence within prospective client organizations, across levels and departments, to establish a foundation for long term success
  • Translate insights you discover about  prospective clients’ desired business outcomes into compelling sales strategies
  • Deeply understand customer needs and map those to Juniper Square’s product capabilities
  • Identify product gaps with a level of precision to create an actionable feedback loop with Juniper Square’s product team 
  • Manage your pipeline, develop a business plan and map accounts 
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals in alignment with the company’s operating model 
  • Represent Juniper Square by attending  industry events and associations 
  • Learn how the industry operates and become an expert in private markets
  • Oversee the paper process including managing the contracting and coordination between deal desk, legal and other stakeholders on both sides

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 6+ years of enterprise sales experience.  Enterprise at Juniper Square involves a complex, considered purchase sales process. 
  • Ability to drive sales through complex organizational structures and multiple decision-makers. Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales approach is essential 
  • Experience working in a team environment with sales, business, technical, and product teams 
  • A commitment to operating ethically using integrity and aligning to company values 
  • Ability to communicate at an executive level to lead and manage many projects, with cross-functional stakeholders, while having tremendous attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness and accountability to learn and grow 
  • Successful track record of exceeding quota in a entrepreneurial role and startup environment
  • Familiarity with using a CRM  to maintain account information, accurately forecast, and manage deal pipeline activity. 
  • When it’s safe to return to traveling, the ability to travel
