Justworks is seeking a Senior Manager, Benefits Partnerships to help manage and evolve our suite of differentiated benefits so that our customers can grow their teams and invest in their people’s health and wellbeing. This is a first-of-its-kind role at Justworks, combining product strategy, operations, and business development skill sets and reporting into Product. You will work closely with other leaders across the recently formed Benefits Experience product team, other cross-functional partners like Sales and Customer Success, and external partners. You will have the opportunity to build your team from the ground up, craft effective and scalable processes, and shape the direction of the Justworks benefits offering. 

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial, results-driven people leader with experience developing successful product partnerships with meaningful customer impact. You thoughtfully balance future-oriented strategic decision-making with effective operational execution, and analytical rigor with strong intuition and relationship building. You are a systems thinker; you understand the bigger picture, as well as its component parts, and seamlessly connect the dots. You are passionate about the impact that small business employers can have on their employees’ lives, and are excited about growing that impact by nurturing our existing partnerships with benefit providers like One Medical and Talkspace and bringing on new partners to meet customers’ evolving needs.

What You Will Work On

  • Hire, manage, and coach a small team of relationship managers, operations specialists, and strategists
  • Own the relationship between Justworks and our differentiated benefit partners, including One Medical, Health Advocate, Talkspace, ClassPass, and Citibike
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of introducing new benefits, from opportunity identification to research and beta testing to integration and launch
  • Define and measure KPIs to evaluate the success of our differentiated benefit offerings 
  • Keep a pulse on the employer benefits landscape, develop relevant insights, and inform “build / buy / partner” decisions
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing to create strategies to drive adoption of differentiated benefits
  • Work with Product and Engineering counterparts on Benefits Experience team to improve the operational efficiency of maintaining these benefits, with a specific focus on standardizing enrollment and billing integrations, as well as to establish and refine processes for prioritizing and triaging issues and bugs 
  • Work with Operations counterparts in the Core Benefits Unit to standardize operational best practices, such as service level agreements (SLA) with Customer Success and Sales
  • Own stakeholder communications and internal resources about Justworks’ differentiated benefit offerings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Operations, Product, or related fields
  • Strategic systems thinker with a proven ability to identify opportunities, form compelling business cases, and gain support from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing high-performing teams
  • Experienced in working in a high-growth, fast-scaling environment
  • Experienced in interfacing with internal and external partners, including senior leadership
  • Experienced in optimizing operational workflows
  • Strong analytical ability paired with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Bonus points for experience in Benefits - or healthcare-related SaaS companies, the B2B2C space, or other highly regulated, complex spaces
