Kiddom seeks to fundamentally change how K-12 classrooms around the world use technology. Education technology is increasingly fragmented across various applications, software, and services. This undermines the utility of technology for educators, leading to cognitive overload, frustration, and ultimately rejection. Kiddom is building a classroom system helping teachers integrate all content, curriculum, communication and analytics.

To tackle this challenge, Kiddom is looking for a Senior Business Operations Manager who will embody forward-thinking best practices, supporting key strategic initiatives, generating key insights into business performance and providing Kiddom's leadership team with effective decision-making support. In this role, the ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in growth-stage startups, sales operations, finance, capital markets and M&A.

About the role:

  • Provide broad financial support to operational leaders, including preparation of financial plans, internal management reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc queries
  • Work closely with business leaders to report, manage and control operating results, identifying areas of both growth potential, and cost efficiency
  • Run point on the annual planning process and develop long-range strategic and financial plans
  • Lead Corporate Finance, Data Insights, Business Operations, and expense management across the organization
  • Partner cross-functionally providing a breadth of insight and financial decision support
  • Create analyses, commentary and presentation materials for Board and leadership meetings
  • Proactively identify and pursue all possible means to improve financial and operational profitability, stability, and risk as well as recommend market expansion/M&A/partnership opportunities

About you:

  • 5+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience
  • A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision and prioritize across multiple projects / deadlines
  • Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous success dealing effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to influence decisions through the use of analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; advanced degree preferred
