Komodo Health a pour objectif de construire la meilleure plateforme d'analyse de données médicales de l'industrie. Dans le cadre de notre croissance, nous investissons fortement dans le cœur de notre plateforme, en s'appuyant sur notre connaissance avancée du domaine médical et ses données, pour créer une expérience utilisateur forte et homogène à travers nos différentes solutions. Pour atteindre ces objectifs, nous souhaitons accompagner nos équipes avec une démarche d'amélioration continue et d'automatisation de nos méthodes de déploiement et nos capacités de tests, notamment en production.

Ce nouveau rôle de Staff QA Engineer aura pour mission de devenir un contributeur clé de cet effort, en participant activement à la conception, au développement, au déploiement et à l'évangélisation des bonnes pratiques et des frameworks permettant d'atteindre et maintenir un haut degré de couverture et d'automatisation des tests sur l'ensemble de notre plateforme, de l'ingestion de données aux applications. Cette position sera intégrée au sein de l'équipe transverse Office of the CTO (OCTO).

Durant vos 12 premiers mois au sein de Komodo Health, vous aurez...

  • Mené la conception, le développement et le déploiement d'environnements et de campagnes de tests sur des services plateforme et des applications SaaS (intégration, validation, tests end-to-end)
  • Contribué à la création de pipelines d'intégration et déploiement continu
  • Aidé à la définition, l'évaluation et l'adoption par nos équipes d'une stratégie durable autour de la qualité fonctionnelle et technique de notre plateforme.
  • Défini et implémenté la télémétrie qui va permettre de piloter l'ensemble du système de déploiement continu

Ce que vous pouvez apporter à Komodo Health:

  • Enthousiaste sur les sujets autour de l'automatisation et des bonnes pratiques autour du test continu jusqu'à - et incluant - la production
  • Maîtrisant les différentes philosophies de tests continu
  • Maîtrisant les frameworks de tests continu comme Selenium, Cucumber ou équivalents concernant les tests UI et API (Karate…)
  • Maîtrisant les frameworks de tests de charge comme Gatling, K6 ou équivalent
  • Ayant déjà eu l'opportunité de travailler avec une stratégie de tests en production et les bonnes pratiques associées (A/B testing, Feature flipping, Chaos testing…)
  • A l'aise avec des langages de programmation comme Python et/ou Java
  • A l'aise avec un environnement Cloud (AWS) / Cloud native (K8S) et les technologies CI/CD associées (GitHub Actions, JenkinsX…)
  • Excellent.e dans sa communication et collaboration avec les équipes de développement produit, avec la capacité d'initier et piloter les projets de manière proactive.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health

Komodo aims to build the best healthcare data analytics platform in the industry.  As we are maturing, we are investing in our core data platform, building on our strengths in medical and prescription claims, to create common data objects that are used across our different solutions. To do this, we are building a complete API layer that will serve as the central integration and collaboration point for our client-facing applications as well as dedicated customer data sandbox environments.  

The Staff QA Engineer will act as a key enabler and contributor to the different engineering teams in enhancing their maturity in terms of data-driven test strategy and automation to be able to adopt a full continuous delivery approach. This position will integrate the transversal Office of the CTO (OCTO) group.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have:

  • Have led the design, develop and deployment of fully automated test campaigns on a microservices-based SaaS applications (integration, validation and end-to-end / acceptance tests)
  • Have helped create CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Have designed and implemented test metrics monitoring framework that reports the overall continuous delivery system health

What You Bring to Komodo

  • Excited about automation, building tests, and being a team player
  • Proficiency in Tests automation suite like Selenium, Cucumber or other similar tools specialized in API testing (Karate…)
  • Experience with load testing frameworks like Gatling, K6 or other similar tools
  • Experience with testing in Production approaches (Chaos engineering...)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java/Scala
  • Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines using GitActions, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with AWS’s core services and their relationships including
  • Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to initiate and effectively drive projects proactively

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
