A subsidiary of KPMG New Zealand, Streamlined Litigation Support Ltd is New Zealand’s leading litigation support bureau. We provide the processing of electronic documents, data entry and scanning of discovery documents for law firms, barristers, government agencies and organisations in a litigation support capacity.

The EDT Technical Lead is responsible for the provision of a number of responsibilities including hosting, SLS support, eDiscovery support, electronic document processing and IT administration as set out below. The EDT Technical Lead reports to the General Manager or his/her designate. The role supervises the eDiscovery Technician. 

Be Interested

  • Manage SLS’s hosted document review environment, EDT (hosted SQL database with HTML5/Java front end)
  • Manage the eDiscovery Technician
  • Manage system and software upgrades
  • Liaise with vendors and related service providers, and maintain a close working relationship
  • Liaise with server hosting provider, and maintain a close working relationship
  • Working with the tech team researching other solutions as required
  • Loading and processing client data
  • Exporting data for clients
  • Troubleshooting client queries escalated from the eDiscovery Technician
  • Providing online and onsite training to clients
  • Management of EDT guides 

Be Exceptional

  • Experienced SQL database administrator
  • Experience with management and operation of hosted software platforms
  • Experience with management of small technical teams
  • Prioritising and managing workflows to meet deadlines
