The Head of Payments will work closely with the VP of Revenue to refine and rationalize the letgo payment strategy and cooperate with Product, Tech and other functions in order to implement it and achieve business objectives.

Your challenge:

  • Assess the payments landscape for letgo in the U.S. and Turkey, looking at both the present day and future developments
  • Seek out innovation in the payments domain as well as emerging regulatory trends that could influence letgo approach to payments
  • Outline and recommend letgo strategic position on the payment’s spectrum to optimize, innovate and scale to meet the company’s goals
  • Develop a clear set of coherent prioritized actions to deliver against this strategic ambition and work closely with the Product & Tech squads to execute the defined initiatives

To get there you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with online payments and e-commerce space
  • Deep knowledge of international payments and regulatory developments for payments, experience working with Stripe is an advantage
  • Extensive experience in developing strategy within the payments environment and a track record in deriving insights and developing recommendations and action plans
  • Commercial focus, with experience of interacting collaboratively with colleagues in Tech and Product functions
  • Highly analytical and data-driven approach to decision making, extremely rigorous when it comes to numbers and ability to define solutions to complex multi-variable optimization problems
  • Ability to build, inspire, manage and grow payments team
