The Director, Corporate Strategy plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the business. You will assist in all strategy-related matters and corporate development initiatives (M&A, financing, etc.). You will operate as key player of the strategy team, providing expert strategic advice skills to CEO, CFO, and management team.

Your challenge:

  • Define and measure progress towards business goals for specific initiatives, and work with senior leadership across the organization to determine what is working vs. not working
  • Drive market research to understand local user needs, preferences, cultural differences, competitive landscape, and any other insights that will help drive strategic decision making
  • Work with external research firms, investment banks and consulting firms on a continuous basis to understand disruptive trends and how to best position letgo for future growth
  • Identify both organic and inorganic (M&A) opportunities for growth
  • Develop and execute strategic plans by outlining business opportunity, rationale, and operational plans to capture opportunity including product, go-to-market strategies, and business models by working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Monetization, Sales, Finance, and Legal 
  • Evaluate and communicate progress of expansion initiatives with executive committee and other key stakeholders
  • Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for selected markets and departments and provide ongoing reporting of these KPIs
  • Exceptional executive level oral and written communication skills and ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
  • 6+ years work experience in strategy/operations, consulting, finance, tech, start-ups, or other related fields
  • Experience supporting market expansion strategy & operations 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, written and verbal, to work with senior executives across various geographies and functions; comfort in business and technical discussions.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and strategic thinker who can quickly frame an issue and identify key drivers and potential solutions
  • An understanding of the industry landscape and ability to harness it to manage our business opportunities
