AlgoLift by Liftoff+Vungle is a predictive analytics and marketing automation company dedicated to helping mobile app companies execute highly effective user acquisition campaigns across Facebook, Google, Apple Search and other mobile ad networks.

We are looking to add a User Acquisition Analyst - Gaming to the customer success team to support our expanding list of clients. As a User Acquisition Analyst - Gaming,  you’ll spend time working across a variety of projects, you’ll conduct detailed analyses to understand the impact of the marketing efforts of our various clients through their utilization of various Algolift by Liftoff+Vungle services.

You will be responsible for creating and monitoring dashboards, building complex data models and performing ad hoc analyses - with the goal of forecasting the impact of our services. The ideal candidate works well in a highly collaborative environment but is also able to thrive independently. Strong digital marketing understanding is a must, as well as experience with product, and mobile advertising.


This role is eligible to work out of any of our below North America office locations or is eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities.

US office locations: Redwood City (HQ), San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle, Austin (office in 2022)

Additionally, Liftoff+Vungle recently announced approved North American locations from which some employees may request to work from any city and county: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah and Washington in the US, and Canada.


  • Analyze performance marketing metrics and ML predictions across internal and external data sources
  • Be responsible for monitoring the success of customers’ campaigns and raising flags to the appropriate teams when necessary
  • Use your experience analyzing and managing campaigns to help customers understand the decisions Algolift’s automated system is making
  • Conduct quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, & statistical models to support decisions related to: customer LTV, market budget allocations, and bids. 
  • Ensure success in technical data migration, and deploying Algolift with strategic prospects/clients and provide valuable insights about the data throughout the onboarding / renewal process 
  • Work with the Data Science and Product teams to facilitate data ingestion & troubleshoot issues
  • Build & maintain BI tools in partnership with Data Science to make informed decisions quickly while empowering others cross functionally to have information readily accessible
  • develop and advocate solutions alongside our internal product/data science/engineering teams, & technology partners to serve Algolift clients in an effort to hit their goals. 
  • Understand the data-centric needs of Algolift clients in order to have proper context for aiding in solving their problems
  • Help Algolift CS/Sales teams to make sense of large client datasets and uncover relevant insights
  • Create impactful data reports from conceptualization, through data extraction, data analysis, and data mining, to the delivery of clear and actionable recommendations insights for client stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data sets and present them in a clear, easy and understandable way

Desired skills and ability

  • At least 3 or more years of experience with SQL
  • At least 3 or more years of experience with Python  
  • Proven track record in working with mobile marketing datasets - attribution, spend, CPA, ROAS
  • Experience managing mobile app acquisition campaigns on Facebook, Google, and/or other comparable networks with sizable budgets
  • Product & business orientation
  • Strong English communication and writing skills with an ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
  • Familiarity with analytics and marketing tools, as well as knowledge in mobile measurement tracking tools (Adjust, Appsflyer, etc.)


  • Experience with the digital marketing industry particularly the mobile app user acquisition ecosystem
  • Experience with Looker/PowerBI/Tableau or other data visualization tool
