This position is based out of Dublin. Looker is seeking a Manager of Alliances and Channel to help develop our EMEA expansion through System Integrators, Resellers & Consulting Alliances. You will manage all aspects of the partner sales and development lifecycle including partner recruitment, strategy development, partner activation, sales management, and the closing of partner sales opportunities.


  • Actively recruit, on-board, and activate Consulting Alliances with regional firms based in your region
  • Work with partner team members to develop an alliance strategy and GTM plan for each partner. Define mutually agreed outcomes, messaging, go to market plan, and partner commitments in areas ranging from practice development, marketing, sales and potentially vertical solution development
  • Actively promote alliance value proposition for each partner within Looker and within partner company
  • Review sales metrics/effectiveness on a recurring basis with Partners, GTM team, and direct Sales, driving to measurable revenue contribution to the business
  • Maintain accurate pipeline & results dashboards that communicate to key stakeholders the effectiveness of the alliance programs & investments
  • Develop & nurture relationships with executives and product managers at key partners that lead to longer term opportunities


  • 5+ years in a channel sales and/or channel management roles focused on multiple partner sizes from regionals to GSI’s
  • Extensive external industry network with 2-3 years of BI and/or SaaS partner channel sales experience required
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity; able to focus and execute in a changing environment; ability to make things happen
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills, using relevant information to make timely and critical decisions
  • Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of influenced revenue and channel sales through partners
  • Understanding of service offering creation, marketing, lead generation and professional services organization key performance indicators
  • Strong executive selling and business development skills; proven ability to understand different partner GTM and organizational models
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of time
