The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to join the high growth region of Central Europe within the EMEA region of Lucid. As one of the first members in the German team, the new candidate will have the chance to make a real impact and to shape the future of the organisation in the territory. The successful candidate will be based in our new Hamburg office and will be responsible for converting prospects from the DACH region into revenue-generating clients by managing all aspects of the sales funnel from creating awareness to deal closing. Technology is at the heart of our business and we want someone who will thrive on selling with integrity and enthusiasm, by helping clients use our technology to change the way they do business for the better.
Lucid started its operation in Germany in August 2019 and has consistently been growing its client base. Our clients are Market Research Agencies, Business Consultancies and Corporate Clients from various industries. 


  • Identify and prospect decision makers in the industry and build a relationship
  • Develop professional knowledge of our software solution and demonstrate and present benefits and features that come along with our technology to prospective clients.
  • Create your own pipeline of prospects and convert them into revenue generating clients.
  • Work closely with our operation team in London to successfully onboard new clients.
  • Keep track of your activities in our CRM tool. If it’s not in Salesforce it didn't happen.
  • Report on your progress to senior level management.
  • Visit customers and attend industry events in the DACH region and beyond.
  • Have fun.


  • 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally in selling a SaaS product or in market research, digital advertising or related industry.
  • Strong sense for new technology, with the ability to use, demonstrate, and speak about it.
  • Experience or passion in new business development and a willingness to develop in this area.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strongly preferred Native German & business level of English communication skills. Dutch is a plus but not essential.
