The Role
As part of the Autonomy Software Team, you will be interacting on a daily basis with software engineers and data scientists to tackle the most advanced perception challenges.
As a member of a rapidly growing team, you will be able to make a large impact on the definition of our product.
For this position, we are looking for an engineer with a broad understanding of robotic in general with a strong level of expertise in systems programming.
In your role you will be involved in developing and deploying deep nets at scale in cloud based infrastructure as well as on real-time embedded autonomous platforms.

Required competencies/experience

  • MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Expert in latest computer vision technologies
  • Extensive programming experience, ideally in C++ and Python
  • Strong background in object oriented design, prioritizing testability and reusability

Preferred Competencies

  • Extensive experience developing real-time or low latency, high throughput systems
  • Experience in device driver development, systems integration, configuration management, and other related systems skills
  • Extensive experience developing deep nets for inferencing at scale or on embedded platforms
  • Experience in robotics, real time systems, embedded system or self-driving technologies
  • Experience launching products containing deep learning algorithms
