The Lyft Payments team is looking for a rock-star to join in a fast-paced and transformational start-up to manage various programs with various partners such as payment processors, providers of fraud and risk services, etc. 
The goal is to integrate new partners quickly and efficiently, enable new functionality with existing partners and manage internal Lyft stakeholder requirements to execute fast. This individual will work with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver the latest payment, fraud and services capabilities with internal and external teams to offer new capabilities to passengers and drivers. The person must be capable of diving deep into business requirements, engineering specifications and use project management tools to implement and launch.
The Senior Payments Solutions Manager will play a key role coordinating with various internal and external teams. The individual will program manage the development, readiness and execution of product enhancements and new product development, features and processes. The individual will be responsible for integrating new payment providers and other partners whose services will be used by Lyft to enhance the passenger and driver experience. 

The Payments team is the core of how Lyft operates. From enabling passenger to take rides to paying the drivers, we ensure frictionless interactions on our platform. Trusted payments is fundamental to Lyft marketplace, and the Payments team is charged with ensuring all money flows through our payments system reliably and accurately. The engineering challenge and opportunity is to enable a superior and secure experience through the Lyft app for passengers and drivers resulting in a near instantaneous flow of funds for all participants.
The Payments team has a history of enabling rich and creative features that set the standard for the entire sharing industry.  In addition to launching new features, the Payments team is also the architect and owner of a robust and flexible payments platform which enables other teams at Lyft to leverage.


  • Manage large-scale integrations, strategic initiatives and key programs with processors, gateways, acquirers, issuers, fraud and risk providers and third-party solution providers
  • Coordinate with business, product and engineering teams across Lyft to own and identify implementation and readiness requirements and communicate impact of projects and programs
  • Establish clear project management requirements and accountability
  • Execute to established project priorities and commitments
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts that balance internal and external requirements related to engineering, implementation, and operational areas
  • Develop and manage an end-to-end process with various Lyft teams, such as customer support teams, to identify enhancements to Lyft services, communicate and prioritize development with product management and engineering teams and ensure readiness planning and rollout with relevant teams
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting the payment partners and third-party vendors and create and execute programs to address those issues
  • Communicate and report the key milestones and readiness timelines to internal and external audiences.
  • Drive content for internal business communications highlighting various initiatives, successes, and platform improvement opportunities


  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in program management or technology, ecommerce and payments experience
  • Program management experience with good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Experience with project delivery for large, cross functional projects and building processes
  • Experience communicating and handling cross functional programs
  • Essential program management skills include collecting business requirements, reviewing specifications, analyzing cost/benefit of project selection, and communicating results throughout the organization
  • Positive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals
  • Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact and influence outcomes in matrixed environment
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; scrappy!
  • Demonstrated track history of working with nascent products/services in new markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially to senior executives
