Sales Operations Analytics Manager

Lyft’s Enterprise organization is searching for a Sales Operations Analytics Manager to drive business insights and efficiencies within our sales, partnerships, and business development groups.  This individual will partner with key stakeholders across the organization to make data-driven decisions on topics, including, but not limited to: strategy, performance, forecasting, territory optimization, sales incentive design, and process improvement.  This role will work on strategic initiatives, become a key business advisor, and be passionate about driving progress in our systems, tools, and process.

The role works with the key stakeholders to monitor and report on adoption and adherence to process and systems, identifying areas for improvement. This position requires strong working relationships with front line sales teams, as well as others across the organization.  With a passionate, results-oriented approach, you’ll apply day-to-day business judgment and analytical thinking, combined with leveraging and maintaining critical business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform advanced analysis activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core operational metrics.
  • Create and automate reports, perform data analysis, and provide meaningful insights into business results and operational performance to support day to day sales operations and initiatives for the sales, channel, and BD divisions
  • Identify current process inefficiencies, develop creative solutions, and drive implementation
  • Drive data quality and timeliness of data input from Sales
  • Assist leadership with the development of annual strategic and operating plans, including quotas, budgets, and forecasts
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior management in a timely manner with an a high level of accuracy
  • Lead the operational processes and management of the compensation program

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 7+ years experience in Sales or Business Operations
  • BA/BS degree in a technical or business-oriented field or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong people leader with 2+ years experience managing a team
  • Excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Mode, Looker Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
  • Comfortable with SQL and Excel
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Ability to build dashboards and automate processes using some scripting/coding ability
  • Scrappy and willing to wear multiple hats, able to deliver high-quality results in an often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment
