Growth Marketer, Mobile Programmatic

Lyft is looking for a Growth Marketer to focus on our mobile programmatic display efforts and join our rapidly growing Acquisition team. We’re looking for proven leaders who can craft a channel marketing strategy and execute on it. The ideal candidate possesses strong people management skills, quantitative thinking skills, and thinks strategically about their channel.

The Growth Marketer is a seasoned performance marketer with experience growing large direct-response programs. This role will coordinate with analysts to develop and implement strategies to grow our supply/demand marketing programs. They will partner closely with other channel leads to identify key learnings and implement cross-channel.


  • Own and build the mobile programmatic channel focusing on in-app programmatic for Driver and Passenger acquisition programs
  • Fluid understanding of the programmatic space and the different optimization levers to utilize on RTB & PMP campaigns
  • Strong understanding of performance based creative optimization and the different elements that drive higher Yield/CTR
  • Apply industry leading best practices to efficiently scale campaigns
  • Discover and test new potential programmatic partners to scale
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data attribution discrepancies and recommend a solution
  • Conduct and iterate on A/B tests to improve campaign performance
  • Partner with analytics and marketing technology team to improve reporting and campaign setup
  • Own program performance including profit/loss and benchmarking against forecasts
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to campaign setup and strategy working closely with channel leads
  • Develop win-win partnerships with our key strategic partnerships. Interface regularly with partners to diagnose setup, troubleshooting, and technical issues
  • Proven ability to iterate on current process and identify new opportunities to improve
  • Understanding of mobile app attribution, and third party attribution tracking integration (eg Tune)


  • 4+ years experience in user acquisition and advertising with hands on campaign management
  • Direct experience with ad serving exchanges, technologies, and DSP’s
  • Mobile advertising experience is a huge plus but not required
  • Experience negotiating and executing Private Marketplace Deals (PMPs)
  • BA / BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Business, Economics)

  • Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, Data Manipulation)
  • Preferred SQL knowledge, with ability to identify data to explore, build queries and pull data to answer complex business questions
