Engagement at Lyft is a data-driven and growth-focused function bringing marketing, analytics, user insight and experimentation together to develop and optimize the lifecycle strategy for passengers and drivers. Embedded within a cross-functional Growth Team, the Engagement Team works closely with product, engineering, data science and design to develop programs focused on improving activation, retention and loyalty.

We're looking for a proven leader to head our Driver Engagement team. The ideal candidate has experience leading and growing a strong team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll own a large budget and be responsible for performance against key business metrics and aggressive growth goals. We’re looking for someone who’s equal parts growth marketer, analyst, and business strategist who can take an already strong team and make it 10x stronger.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the driver engagement lifecycle from end-to-end, from start of the application through to retention, loyalty and win-back
  • Responsible for performance against key top-line business KPIs
  • Lead a team of talented growth marketers, helping to define priorities, develop analytical capacity, and maximize the potential of each member of the team
  • Live in the data to uncover key business insights and opportunities for engagement
  • Advance the sophistication of our current marketing programs, leveraging cutting edge technology and data science to find exponential performance improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders on product, engineering, and data science to unlock new capabilities for the growth team

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • BA / BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Business, Economics, Statistics)
  • 10+ years growth marketing experience in high-growth companies
  • Proven experience managing and growing a team
  • Experience owning and managing a budget, creating forecasts and models for program performance and cost
  • Strong background in analytics, self-sufficient with SQL and reporting
  • Demonstrated track record in growth experimentation and funnel optimization
  • Enjoys diving deep into the data to solve problems and understand the details
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing through email, push notifications, and/or in-app marketing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; extremely attentive to detail
