Software Engineer, Data Privacy

Lyft, San Francisco, CA

Lyft is your friend with a car, whenever you need one

The Data Privacy Team carries a huge responsibility at Lyft to protect customer and company data from inadvertent and malicious misuse. Because of our broad mission, we engage with others across the company, including those in security, product, compliance, legal, support, operations and fraud. We are constantly in search of high-impact, scalable solutions to better protect our customers. As the privacy experts at Lyft, our team assists other teams with privacy questions and requests and educates Lyft employees on privacy processes and best practices. This helps us implement better privacy practices throughout the company, reducing the amount of future tech debt by building privacy into our services and tools from the beginning.
