Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Engagement

  • Be the voice of the driver within the product organization, with the ability to be empathetic and effectively speak on behalf of the driver audience
  • Be the expert of your end user by conducting user research and leveraging user data. Use this information to develop strategy, positioning, and provide feedback cross-functionally.
  • Help deliver a cohesive communications strategy across the entire driver lifecycle
  • Develop and drive an overarching driver strategy in conjunction with the product and engineering teams to increase driver engagement
  • Own the performance of Lyft’s driver incentive programs; work with product, creative and analytics to continuously optimize
  • Continuously optimize and assess the driver lifecycle to increase conversion and engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with product, brand, design, research, operations, support, etc. regularly to support on-going product launches and go-to-market strategies
  • Identify and prioritize areas of opportunity, and innovate on how to amplify driver engagement


  • 4+ years experience in product marketing, with a focus on engagement and lifecycle marketing
  • Analytical thinker and experience in data-driven marketing. Results driven with the ability to analyze complex data to inform strategic decisions
  • Experience working with user flow metrics and optimizing product funnels
  • Ability to independently drive experimentation frameworks focused on engagement (i.e. A/B tests on copy and design)
  • Strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly change direction in response to changing market conditions
  • Experienced in developing and applying consumer insights to inform and optimize the product experience
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally effectively with both analytical and creative teams
