Associate Creative Director/ Art

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director/Art Director to join our brand led in-house creative team. As an ACD, you will lead the concept, design and execution of groundbreaking creative solutions for integrated campaigns and content. Your amazing conceptual power and exceptional art direction skills that you bring to the team will be put to use daily. The ideal candidate should be a natural leader with an advertising agency background or have experience working for a consumer lifestyle brand. You will work with a highly cross-functional team of marketing, product, brand, and business leaders to bring our ideas to life with your creative execution and expertise.


  • Create a range of powerful campaign concepts and visual designs for a multitude of projects across integrated marketing, website, social, and in-app content
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, art layouts and decks based on strategic marketing insights, briefs and brand culture
  • Present creative concepts and visual designs to executives and stakeholders
  • Partner with integrated advertising copywriters to ensure a high standard of visual execution seamlessly complements creative copy on all projects
  • Oversee small teams on mid-large sized productions and provide creative direction and constructive feedback to fellow art directors
  • Champion Lyft's brand voice and style across all acquisition channels
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, producers, and cross-functional stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


  • 6-10 years experience as an art director or designer at an advertising agency or with a consumer lifestyle brand
  • 4+ years of digital advertising design experience
  • A diverse, robust portfolio featuring examples of collaborative and self-initiated projects
  • A cultural connoisseur with a vital pulse on current trends in design, music, fashion and tech
  • A highly conceptual, proactive mind that aligns design and visuals with creative copy to effectively communicate across multiple platforms
  • A knack for strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
  • Experience developing creative concepts based on strategic marketing insights
  • Strong experience in leading large marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and provide solutions that keep the integrity of ideas
  • Proven experience overseeing ideas from inception to launch
  • Ability to address delicate issues with sensitivity and empathy
  • Used Lyft as a passenger and/or driver
