Lyft is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing New Jersey based team (Hoboken, NJ). In this role, you will support a broad range of initiatives to achieve aggressive passenger and driver acquisition and ride and awareness goals for some of Lyft’s largest growth markets. This role requires a candidate with proven partnership and marketing experience. You will be responsible for finding partners, creating new business verticals, and in charge of the smooth execution of local marketing programs. You are keen at developing relationships and new marketing strategies, and well organized to do both in several regions. You can also keep multiple projects on budget and on time.

You should be a master collaborator and project manager that thrives on doing multiple things at once. This role requires a self-starter that needs little direction as you will be part of a small local marketing team covering a wide range of initiatives. An entrepreneurial mindset is crucial in this role-- you will be testing, iterating and creating best practices at lightning speed in order to help move the needle in your market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Local partnership development for a targeted set of high impact partners
  • Project management for a wide variety of marketing initiatives including grassroots marketing, referral programs, and advertising
  • Hyper-local marketing campaign development
  • Develop programs and tools to support expansion into new local markets
  • Track and maintain local budgets, ensuring internal processes are followed from purchase order to invoice payment
  • Generate local passenger and market insights

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 4+ years of broad range marketing experience including partnership development, event planning, advertising and social media
  • Experience growing local partnerships
  • Master project-manager
  • Highly organized and detail oriented (but with the ability to think big picture)
  • Adept collaborator and communicator
  • Experience with grassroots marketing
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to write for business development, social media, and creative briefs
  • Entrepreneurial, can create new processes and tools
  • Analytical Skills -- can interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Independent, needs little direction
