We are seeking a multi-faceted Technical Program Manager with a passion for understanding how organizations work, identifying opportunities to streamline and to enable more effective, collaborative teams. In this role you will collaborate across the company on tools and services that improve the productivity of our teams.

Technical Program Managers at Lyft drive cross-functional initiatives, leveraging strong leadership, planning, communication, and collaboration skills. Our TPMs are problem solvers who make things happen around them by setting clear goals and inspiring teams to deliver. TPMs at Lyft are able to balance being both strategic and tactical and do what it takes to successfully deliver key programs that have a material impact on the business.


  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to understand their needs and the gaps with existing tools and services and evaluate different solutions to identify the best path forward
  • Gather requirements and feedback and drive prioritization across multiple stakeholders
  • Create functional specifications that represent the current- and future-state business processes
  • Lead and collaborate on all business readiness activities including communication, training, rollout, support and adoption
  • Partner with our Jira admin team to define configuration best practices and standards, and use of consistent workflows
  • Own the quarterly OKR and roadmap planning processLead iterative delivery of strategic cross-functional initiatives from concept to ship, through focus, transparency, communication, visibility, and accountability


  • 3+ years as a TPM, product manager, or a relevant consulting role
  • Experience leading projects iteratively with multiple dependencies and constraints, in a highly dynamic and agile environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships and partner across large organizations in effective ways
  • Experience building roadmaps, release plans, project plans with a thorough understanding of dependency management and deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Able to communicate at all levels from engineer to partner to C-level executives
  • Able to influence, negotiate and inspire others in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
