Job Description:

Responsible for the creation of project plans and operational strategies that will lead to the deployment of leading edge technology platforms that will enable Magic Leap’s product portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track activities across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, industrial design, software, systems engineering, and supply chain) to ensure that team effectively executes the project plans and operational strategies and goals
  • Manage teams that are geographically spaced.  Responsible for the development and maintaining a long-term strategic team building focus
  • Strong technical leadership managing electrical board level, FPGA/ASIC design, and test
  • Creating a departmental strategy within budgetary requirements to ensure that the team has the necessary resources for the development, verification, and validation of Magic Leap’s product portfolio

  • Operational experience in mobile computing devices
  • Project schedule and planning
  • Architectural development
  • IC design development
  • IC design verification and validation
  • Board level design development
  • Board and system level tests - development and manufacturing
  • Product level certification
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Quality processes
  • Product portfolio management
  • Outstanding team-building and collaboration skills

Education:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is required. MS or PhD is preferred
