Internship Description

We are looking for an engineering student to join our opto-mechanical engineering team to develop optical systems with our team at Magic Leap.

The scope of the internship requires knowledge in optics, mechanical engineering, material sciences and programming.  You will be responsible for maintaining, testing and building experimental setups as well as running experiments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master in Engineering (micro, electrical, material, mechanical or physics engineering)
  • Knowledge of CAD design, ideally with SolidWorks
  • Some experience and basic know-how of working with lasers and optics
  • Ideally some experience with LabView and/or Python
  • Good English language skills
  • Proactive, precise, result-oriented and able to meet deadlines as well as work with minimum supervision
