Job Description

We are looking for a driven, independent thinker and open-minded machine learning / deep learning software engineer. As a member of our algorithms group, you will be responsible for a complete development cycle: from the early stages of problem analysis and target definitions, through the research stages, machine learning / deep learning algorithm design, implementation, and optimization for real time and low power constraints.


  • Design and implement machine learning applications in the cutting edge technology of Magic Leap product.

  • Be part of a team developing algorithms and tools to enable a deep learning infrastructure to support a state-of-the-art computer vision capabilities.

  • Develop optimization methods, deep architectures, and learning tools for a wide variety of perception problems.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in deep learning.

  • Experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization.

  • C++ / Python.

  • Team player - a must! 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledge in SLAM / 3D

  • Experience in software development on embedded platforms.


  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in exact sciences (Computer Science, Electrical  Engineering, Physics Mathematics). Ph.D. preferred.
