Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is a national nonprofit that is transforming the most influential organizations in the U.S. by providing them with winning DEI strategies, standards, and tactics while equipping high-achieving Black, Hispanic / Latinx, and Native American talent with skills, coaching, and door-opening relationships to accelerate their paths to leadership.

The successful candidate has the opportunity to support MLT’s Employer Equity Solutions team to help leading employers design and implement more effective diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and tactics. The Experienced Recruiting Engagement Leader will work with MLT partner employers to help them:
Understand diversity lateral/experienced recruiting best practices
Change their existing recruiting practices by educating and training recruiters and business leaders on best practice approaches and working side-by-side with partners to implement new policies and practices
Effectively tap into MLT’s experienced talent pool of over 9,000 diverse professional

This role provides a highly collaborative opportunity to work with various internal groups at MLT, as well as working directly with MLT partner employers and MLT Alumni. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Talent Acquisition tools and processes, is able to manage several projects simultaneously, is a very strong communicator and can communicate structured recommendations to clients, and can effectively manage relationships with executives at client organizations.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advisory expertise on diversity experienced recruiting strategies and tactics; help each client understand MLT’s recommended best practices and how to apply them within their organization
  • Prepare high-quality client presentations to communicate strategic recommendations
  • Lead hands-on training for recruiters and hiring managers at partner employers
  • Advise and work with recruiters and hiring managers on an ongoing basis to help them implement best practice recruiting approaches
  • Help partner employers recruit from MLT’s experienced Alumni talent pool
  • Collaborate with MLT’s Alumni Professional Development team to create content, resources, and support for MLT Alumni interested in changing careers
  • Partner with other areas of MLT’s Advisory and Employer Equity teams to develop, codify, and spread MLT’s insights relative to diversity experienced recruiting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Search, and/or Human Capital Consulting
  • Deep understanding of recruiting/talent acquisition processes
  • Strong client orientation and relationship management skills
  • Strong results-orientation and sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills, including creating client-centric communications utilizing powerpoint and/or google suite
  • Commitment to the social sector and MLT’s mission and values
