MLT is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and oversee the product lifecycle for one of MLT’s proprietary online platforms, MLTx.  The MLTx platform is an online portal designed to support scaling and online delivery of MLT’s core competencies (coaching, community, and playbooks). Currently, the MLTx user base consists solely of MLT alumni but will be extended to include current Fellows, staff, and external stakeholders within the next year. The Product Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, develop and execute on a product roadmap, and gather and monitor product feedback.  S/he will also work closely with the external design and development teams to deliver the products such that they satisfy requirements and feedback.

The successful candidate will have a passion for MLT’s growing mission, an inherent love of developing user-driven products, and experience working with cross-functional, internal and external teams. This position will be remote and reports to MLT’s  Director of Product, who is responsible for the oversight of all of MLT’s proprietary products.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver MLTx product roadmap (30%)
  • Working closely with external development team to plan sprints, define requirements, and provide feedback for bi-weekly releases (25%)
  • Working with related teams to define the content strategy for resources and playbooks delivered on the platform (20%)
  • Monitoring and responding to end-user production support requests related to the platform (15%)
  • Working with the Product Marketing Manager to define and execute outreach related to the platform and platform users, and collect and respond to end-user engagement and product feedback (10%)

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required and a Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, including requirements gathering, product marketing strategy, product roadmap development, and product delivery
  • Experience developing and cultivating online communities, a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicating between them
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well in written and oral settings, understand business objectives and translate them into technology solutions
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail
  • Passion and understanding of MLT’s mission and a commitment to delivering products that support it
