We are looking for an experienced front end developer to ensure that our web application is in-your-face-awesome. Do you have both a passion and critical eye for design, both technical and visual? Do you excel at working with the front of front end web applications, easily delving into the depths of the UI? Do you like working with an open source community? If so, you’re what we’re looking for to help build great user experiences.
Create accessible, user-centric web experiences
Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers and engineers of other disciplines
Build high impact, end user features that vastly improve user productivity
Design, develop and maintain components as part of a larger design system
Bridge the gap between UX design and engineering
Write thoughtful, high quality code
Maintain and improve existing codebases
Be a technical project owner, driving projects from kickoff to completion
Set direction and standards for a large open source project
Guide, review and support open source contributors and community members
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
4+ years of experience in web application design and development
Deep understanding of mobile-first, accessible and responsive design
Experience creating complex web applications that are scalable, manageable and performant
Experience writing automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests
Ability to work independently in an asynchronous team environment
Comfortable with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, CircleCI
Ability to dive into backend Go code from time to time
Experience working in open source communities
