Total Rewards Analyst - Remote

Duration: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze compensation and benefits data, identify trends, and share insights for data-driven decisions
- Manage day-to-day administration of compensation processes including new hire salary suggestions, promotion increases, spot bonuses, incentive pay computations, salary reviews, and related documentation
- Support the development, implementation, documentation, and ongoing evaluation of total rewards processes and programs
- Own the annual merit pay process, including payout computations, cost scenarios and budget analysis
- Maintain compensation benchmarking platforms, internal salary structures, databases and guidelines
- Assess compliance with pay equity legislation and other regulatory requirements
- Respond to questions on compensation processes and guidelines
- Research global best practices and local market norms on total rewards
- Maintain stock option program and new grant process, including working with Counsel to prepare Board Grant documents on a quarterly basis, maintaining internal FAQ documents and responding to staff inquiries
- Maintain hiring budget model, and budget tracking documents for each business unit.
Required Background/Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with modeling and costing
- Advanced Excel user with experience making sense of complex, high quantity, and divergent data
- Good understanding of compensation, benefits and total rewards concepts, programs and best practices
- Strong research skills with a curious mindset to gather global best practices and trends on compensation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to a variety of audience
- Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables with minimal guidance
- Ability to exercise good judgment in managing confidential and sensitive information
- Must be a quick learner, comfortable with navigating evolving situations in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
- Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous process improvements and longer term implications
- Meticulous attention to details and accuracy
- Savvy with HR systems with demonstrated ability to set up efficient workflows
- Good understanding of HR information systems or related reporting tools

- 1 to 2 years of compensation experience
