Mediamorph is a seeking Sr. Business Analyst based in our Los Angeles office who would like to have the opportunity to apply their hard-earned skills in a rewards-driven environment.
Developing an in-depth understanding of customer business processes and operations, and applying the knowledge to define solutions using the Mediamorph product suite
Analyzing and documenting relevant business processes
Leading interviews with customers to define, document and review functional requirements
Developing gap fit documentation
Developing solution design specification
Defining system acceptance criteria with customers
Facilitating User Acceptance Testing processes including documenting test plans and test results
Preparing end user documentation, training materials, and release notes
Conducting training classes, including train-the trainer, one-on-one or classroom style training
Engaging all relevant participants in release management activities
Traveling to client sites as required
A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in implementing software solutions, preferably with packaged web-based/SaaS software applications
Extensive experience in defining user requirements and business process analysis
Experience with release and change management techniques
Experience with MS Office suite, project management software, Confluence, JIRA
Exceptional analytical skills
Experience with end-to-end system testing and regression testing
Experience with end-user training
Experience with finance and accounting practices a plus
Experience with datawarehouse concepts and business analytics a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the development of project documentation
Ability to write and present effective project materials, including process flow diagrams, presentations, status reports, and test plans
Ability to effectively identify and resolve conflicts and issues
Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and clients
Media & Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
