Mediamorph is seeking a highly-dynamic NY-senior based project manager to help manage our rapidly growing roster of NY-based customers which include nearly all the major film studios, broadcasters and cable networks based in the area.
Our cloud-based product and services are used to manage the end to end Digital and Distribution Business for major media companies – for example, film studios derive tremendous value from Mediamorph and operate their digital distribution businesses and depend on our managed services during the contracting and financial close processes.
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to ensure that our services and platform are implemented and being used successfully, by managing and driving the rollout of our services and implementation working closely with all levels of our clients organizations and ongoing management of the client relationship. Second is to increase our revenue at these accounts by selling additional services and modules or selling to additional groups who may not yet be using Mediamorph.
While the Senior Project Manager is the primary customer-facing presence for Mediamorph, he or she will be supported by our NYC based engineering and operations team as well as local contract resources for specific roles such as functional analysis, systems integration, etc.
The successful candidate will either have had 4-6 years' experience at one of the major consultancies such as Cap Gemini, Accenture, IBM or Cognizant in a consultant, business analysis or project management role or else have performed this role with one of the software or services firms serving the entertainment industry. Minimum 3 years experience with product and project management responsibilities within online software development and Media Technology (including creation and management of product / project lifecycle document artifacts, including project planning tools like MS Project, Rally and/or Basecamp).
Knowledge of the industry, accounting knowledge, experience managing or working on technical implementation projects. Knowledge and experience with leading project planning and business requirements definition, managing distributed teams, meeting facilitation. Strong spoken and written communications and presentation skills to executive, business user and technical groups is essential. Ability to understand and identify opportunities is also essential.
This is a dynamic role, working on all levels of an engagement from driving the initiatives through project management to leading selling of additional work.
