Are you the commercially oriented Partner Sales Manager who can combine business development with strategic channels to deliver revenue for both parties?

In this role you will build and expand a strong partner/system integrator ecosystem in the UK market. You will identify, recruit, educate and train the right partners so they can successfully sell and deliver Mendix solutions. Excelling when working at all levels, you will successfully build relationships and establish business value.
 
As an energetic self-starter, you will have the ability to focus all aspects of building and managing partnerships, while addressing problems that impact how these partnerships achieve their financial goals. You will also absorb and analyse feedback from partners and communicate that back to the product team to help drive the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, qualifying and recruit the right partners for Mendix across the UK region
  • Create and execute against a business plan for partner sourced business across the region
  • Build relationships at the highest partner executive to understand their business needs
  • Identify and develop a go-to-market strategy that leverages the strengths of the partner to create a differentiated value proposition in the enterprise market
  • Evangelize the platform - confirm and communicate the Mendix value to partners and their customers
  • Understanding the formal and informal buying process in the customer's environment
  • Build Sales to partner network to establish trust and jointly closing partner sourced and partner driven opportunities
  • Own partner forecasting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

Experience

  • Channel business development and recruitment experience (5+ years) and a demonstrated track-record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Existing network of partners in the application development and business process space
  • Experience with recruiting new partners like independent software vendors and system integrators
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage partner relationships at all levels
  • Proven track record of building profitable partnerships at previous software companies
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong orientation to team communication and collaboration
