As a Solution Architect at Mendix, you will advise and work on technical (implementation) solutions for our key customers. Your goal and focus is helping our customers/partners to fully integrate the Mendix App Platform in their enterprise landscape. You will work closely with enterprise and application architects and teams of our customers/partners to make this successful.

We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative people with demonstrable work experience in IT development with relevant experience in customer facing positions as an architect, consultant or engineer.

We work on projects using the SCRUM/Agile methodology, so experience with this will be a pro.

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:

Providing solution architecture of Mendix solutions
Positioning Mendix platform in the wider context of the overall solution
Working with development teams on complex implementation challenges around security, integration, data modelling, app performance, deployment strategies and more.
Understanding the Mendix Platform architecture and keeping up to date with the newest developments
Ensuring Mendix best practices and guidelines are applied
Working in a smart, young and dynamic team where innovation thrives, and career opportunities are abundant.
Get trained up in Mendix App Platform and coached in our state of the art Mendix Cloud architecture, deployment and integration possibilities.
Be involved in customer projects and counter the more complex integration, performance and optimisation challenges while creating applications in an Agile way using our platform.
Conquer technical challenges by finding innovative solutions. You'll have the opportunity to harness all your skills to make a difference in your role.
You will be part of consulting team responsible for Customer Success and will work closely with R&D teams and product managers.

You’re the innovator we need if:

You’re a high-energy professional with consultative skills that loves to engage with the customer to create most business value and drive innovation in their organisation.
You’re passionate for technology and have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
You have a background in object oriented software development (Java, C#).
You have understanding of JavaScript, XPath, CSS, HTML, and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
You would like to use great technology to visually create web and mobile applications and implement these in a reliable, scalable and secure way using the Mendix App Platform.
