Every day you will work on the most diverse cases for the first line support of Mendix.
Dedicated and goal-oriented, you will manage various work environments, and you will take responsibility for making available, keeping, and improving the Mendix workplaces, including applications. Variety in your work is guaranteed!
You will work closely with the system administrators, and IT specialists in our solution groups. With your stellar communication skills, service-oriented attitude, and the will to solve problems, you will surprise the customer time and again with a quick solution.
Mendix is part of the Siemens organization. Going towards global support with colleagues in EMEA, APAC and US region we will soon go with a follow-the-sun 24/5 approach.
While the future still includes working from home, after Covid-19 you will be expected to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week. Our office is located in Singapore.

You have at least a diploma.
3 years of proven experience as a first line support engineer.
Strong communication skills. You know how to cope in every situation. By asking the right questions in combination with giving some reassurance, you know how to map out and solve problems at lightning speed.
At least 1 certificate for ITIL Foundation 3 or 4, Windows 10, or Microsoft Office 365.
A structured style of working. This means you always have an overview as well as knowledgeable insight into how to resolve issues and close out active cases.
Good written and oral communication.
Customer and service-oriented; friendly.
Flexible working hours, sometimes working in the evening and in the weekend
Ability to run standby shifts
Ability to read and write in Mandarin, this will be require to support Mandarin speaking users in Mandarin language
First and second-line activities: troubleshooting, advising the end-user for a solution, setting up meetings to resolve outstanding issues.
Executing changes and user requests. Registering & monitoring tickets until closing.
Proactively identify potential problems & initiate steps towards a possible resolution.
