Job Description:
As a Sales Effectiveness Manger, you play a pivotal role in fueling this growth by enabling the Enterprise Sales team scale and continuously elevate their performance.

You will be embedded in a regional line of business,  partnering with the Regional VP to define and execute a prioritized enablement plan that accelerates time to success of new hires and continuously improve performance of tenured Sales Managers and Individual Contributors. 

Your ultimate measure of success will be an increase in Sales Manager Effectiveness measured by improvements in their team’s readiness to execute, and Sales KPIs.

  • Sales Managers
  • Business Development Representatives
  • Account Executives
  • Other members of the enterprise sales team such as Pre-Sales Consultants, Partner Managers, Customer Service Managers for teaming activities

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Regional VPs and their leadership teams to create and execute quarterly data driven enablement plans based on regional and global programs
  • Maintain a Readiness Dashboard that  informs decision making, and ensures programs are focused on areas of biggest impact
  • Develop Sales Leaders / Managers to be great coaches around critical sales activities  (Eg. Developing Talent, Territory & Account Planning, Pipeline Generation, Opportunity Management, Forecasting)
  • Support Sales Leaders / Managers in executing a formal cadence of quarterly, monthly, weekly coaching activities that purposely improve readiness and effectiveness of their team
  • Support efforts that ensure the selling team have access to guided selling tools (playbooks and other sales resources) that provide clarity and empower them to execute key points of the sales 
  • Lead in-field enablement / activation workshops and provide face-to-face / virtual coaching sessions
  • Be the "Voice of Field", capture and share  best practices in the spirit of building a world-class Sales Enablement & Effectiveness function with a reputation for developing A Player talent

How We Will Support You:

  • Top down support from the CEO and cross functional leadership that reinforces the importance of your role and to drive accountability for engagement and results
  • World class sales methodology (Force Management) and qualification framework (MEDDPICC)
  • Close alignment and support from an array of subject matter experts from Product, Solution, Industry, Content Marketing, along with Program Management and Revenue Operations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales related role  or as a member of an Enablement team / Consulting firm focused on sales manager coaching
  • Strong understanding and mastery of sales management and sales coaching
  • Strong facilitation skills, ability to command a room of senior sellers
  • Strong understanding and mastery of enterprise selling sales processes, methodologies, messaging frameworks (Force Management, MEDDPICC preferred)
  • Executive credibility, ability to communicate and influence senior / executive audience (written, oral communication)
  • Ability to influence and drive cross functional teams to get things done and achieve meaningful results
