Performs all functions necessary to support the fulfillment process. This position is Monday thru Friday 10am to 6:30pm.
· Performs collation duties:
o Assembles customer and internal orders and prepares for shipping or routing (COD’s and International)
o Collates multiple pieces in correct sequence for customer orders
o Inserts collated orders in binders, folders and envelopes as required
- Prepares orders for shipping:
o Staples packets according to shipping instructions
o Meters out all products via the electronic shipping system
- Assures accuracy of orders:
o Monitors job tickets for packing, marking and delivery specifications
o Checks quantity of items and/or packages to assure completeness of order
o Reviews each job ticket to determine shipping instructions, component parts and samples to be pulled
o Matches all packing slips to purchase orders and verifies amount shipped and received
o Unpacks and inspects all material, checking for correct item and proper count
- Maintains electronic tracking of orders:
o Logs all incoming material received in computer system accurately
o Responsible for the accurate use and care of the RF units
o Responsible for making bar codes for all incoming products
Maintains and operates equipment:
o Operates electronic shipping equipment safely and efficiently including Drexel/forklift, order picker, electric/manual pallet jack, computer and RF’s Terminal, printers, copy machines and stapling equipment
o Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
o Informs supervisor of any problems with equipment
o Does cycle counts as required
Receives and distributes materials:
o Receives all incoming items from company truck and common carriers
o Distributes non-production materials as received to correct parties
o Transfers materials between departments as directed
o Transfers materials from press skis to shipping skids when necessary
o Delivers supplies to front office when necessary
o Promotes atmosphere of team work
o Follows work direction given by coordinators and leads
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Ability to stand/walk 7.5 hours per day on concrete floor
· Ability to lift: 5-29 lbs. frequently, 30-45 lbs. frequently, 46-50 lbs. occasionally
· Frequent bending, stopping and/or twisting
· Repetitive hand/wrist motion – repetitive grasping
· Ability to move/dismount forklift
· Ability to work in environment where machines are running and where temperatures may exceed 90 degrees in summer months
· May work in high places – order picker
· Ability to work overtime, including weekends and on short notice
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma
· 0-2 years related work experience
· Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately
· Ability to do basic math calculations
· Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
