Moment Factory is a multimedia studio based in Montreal with a full range of production expertise under one roof. Our team combines specialists in video, lighting, architecture, sound, and special effects to create remarkable experiences. Since its inception in 2001, Moment Factory has created more than 400 unique shows and destinations. Productions span the globe and include such clients as the Los Angeles Airport, Nine Inch Nails, Microsoft, NFL, Sony, Toyota, the City of Barcelona, Madonna, and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
As Interactive Director, your mission will be to maintain the artistic vision of an interactive project and rally the creative teams to achieve this vision. You will be in charge of communicating all the creative elements of the project to the client. You will be an inspired cheerleader, a visionary pedagogue, and a creative technologist whose goal will be to help teams show continual advancement and improvement. The director is responsible for the initiation, conception, design, production, and interactive integration of Moment Factory projects.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
The Interactive team brings together technology, design, and innovation enthusiasts. Graphic, creative, and new media developers, along with interactive designers, directors, and producers work together to hack technologies with the goal of creating interactive, immersive, and innovative experiences in the real world.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
·Work closely with the creative director and producer at the strategic level, supervising deliverables, production process development, resource allocation, and timelines;
·Create and develop concepts for pitches and client projects;
·Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary creative team: creative developers, graphic programmers, software developers, graphic designers, 2D & 3D animators, editors, screenwriters, designers, scenographers, lighting designers, sound composers, programmers, technical directors - from design to integration;
·Be aware and responsible for all the details of a project;
·Ensure that the budget and the creative process are aligned;
·Work closely with the creative director and producer at the strategic level, seeing to deliverables, production process development, resource allocation and timelines;
·Manage customer relationships in terms of creativity, and be able to propose ideas;
·Contribute to the productivity and efficiency of a project.

·2 to 4 years of experience in managing a creative team, artistic direction, and interactive project realization;
·A DEP degree in design, multimedia, performing arts or any other relevant discipline;
·Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;
·Mastery of prototyping approaches;
·Mastery of processes related user experience and interface;
·Knowledge of multimedia playback systems;
·Knowledge of sensors;
·An extensive knowledge of technologies.
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE
·Relevant experience in interactive design, events, directing, web (multidisciplinary), video games, filmmaking and film or television post-production.
